JSC Russian Railways recognizes REC POTENTIAL-2 technologies as "the best available"

On September 14, 2016, a meeting of the section of scientific and technical council of JSC "Russian Railways" was held, chaired by V.A. Gapanovich, Senior Vice-President off the Company on the topic: "On introducing the best available technologies in the field of waste disposal and environmental protection."

As a result of the meeting, Protocol No. 23 of September 14, 2016 was drawn. That document specifies that REC POTENTIAL-2 technologies are the best available for the railway transport (item 6.3). Therefore, in accordance with the current legislation, they should be preferentially applied by all design and contract organizations of JSC “Russian Railways”.

Also that document formulates the principles of sound choice of equipment for water treatment. The basic selection criteria are: availability of documented experience from the industry, minimum life cycle cost, capability to warrant the contract life cycle with guaranteed water quality.
