Water de-ironing station for underground water de-ironing

Compact UKOS-VOD-OZH water de-ironing station of non-pressure type functions by the principle of reagent-free oxidation of ferrous iron followed by its subsequent separation on filters with non-replaceable polymeric floating load. The equipment uses new technical solutions that significantly improve the efficiency and reliability of its operation.

Depending on the composition of source water, the station may be equipped with additional modules that ensure improved water quality by other indicators and production of physiologically complete drinking water.

The installation is easy to operate and does not require constant presence of maintenance personnel, it is characterized by relatively low power consumption, may operate in either continuous or periodic mode, is easy to install at operational site and in its functional state features much smaller mass-dimensional characteristics in comparison with traditional installations with heavy filter loads.

Application range

The station is designed for de-ironing water from underground and surface sources, as well as tap water from centralized or local water supply systems of residential areas and industrial enterprises in case such water is contaminated by corrosion products of pipelines of external networks.

UKOS-VOD-OZH may be used:

  • in the course of constructing new, and reconstructing or upgrading the existing stations for water de-ironing in residential, recreational, suburban areas, spas, boarding houses, sanatoriums, motels, campsites and other mass consumers of drinking water;
  • to de-iron water in water conditioning and water treatment systems at food industry enterprises, including liquor plants, breweries, and plants of non-alcoholic beverages;
  • to purify industrial wastewater and drainage water from iron before discharging it into communal sewerage systems and reservoirs;
  • before using purified water in enterprise water-circulation systems;
  • to de-iron water upstream of ion-exchange filters, and/or cation-exchange water softening filters in small and medium--scale power boiler houses;
  • as one of the stages of obtaining extremely pure water.

Исполнение

The equipment is made of carbon steel with an anti-corrosion coating or stainless steel, as well as polypropylene or polyethylene.

UKOS-VOD-OZH installations of are available with manual or automatic flushing of filter load.

Условия поставки

Срок поставки: 1-3 месяца (в зависимости от типоразмера оборудования, загруженности производства, сроков поставки комплектующих).

Транспортировка: by automobile or rail.

Складирование оборудования: under canopy.

Гарантия

Стандартный гарантийный срок составляет 12 месяцев со дня приёмки оборудования в эксплуатацию. Возможно увеличение срока гарантии за дополнительную плату.

Исходные требования

Установку допускается применять при следующих исходных данных:

  • water consumption, m3/day - 10-2000
  • concentration, maximum, mg/l:
    • iron, total - 15
    • bivalent iron - 10
    • hydrogen sulfide - 2
  • рН, units. - at least 6.8
  • alkalinity, mg-equiv/l. - at least 1.5

In case of other initial data on water flow and composition, the application of the UKOS-VOD-OZH system shall be coordinated with REC POTENTIAL-2.

Notes:

  1. UKOS-VOD-OZH installations are deployed in the premises of at least 4 m height
  2. the number of installations is assumed to be 2 units minimum; In case the capacity of water de-ironing station is less than 100 m3/day, one installation of the appropriate capacity is sufficient
  3. it is recommended to operate an even number of contact filters
  4. the number of oxidizer reactors is chosen on the assumption of one reactor per two contact filters
